A legacy of Islamic education excellence spanning over 25 years
Sheikh Siraj Rahman College of Islamic Studies, formerly known as the College of Islamic Studies in Mombasa, was established in 1995 with a vision to provide quality Islamic education to the Muslim community across East Africa.
For over 25 years, our institution maintained a strong reputation for academic excellence, offering bachelor's programs in Islamic studies affiliated with the International University of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan. After a temporary closure due to administrative challenges, we have proudly reopened with renewed vision and stronger affiliations.
Today, we continue our legacy with updated curricula, expanded programs, and strategic partnerships that position us as a leading institution for Islamic studies in the region.
